I ran across a great idea for old clay pots on HGTV. You can just spray them with Chalk Board Paint and write quirky little messages around you patio. I found the Chalk Board paint at Joann’s website and click here for Free Shipping at Joann.com on orders of $50 or more (Code: AP105)
How to Make Spring Chalkboard Pots
I have a small collection of terra cotta pots and this is a great way to recycle the pots and give them as spring gifts. You can use them for Easter Decorations or give them on May Day.
Inexpensive terra cotta pots get a playful makeover with chalkboard paint; fill with blooming bulbs for a cheery pop of spring color.
