Holiday Placemats made with Quick Pleater

Pleated Edge Placemats

Thinking ahead to December Holidays and entertaining friends and family.  Have you ran into the problem of you place mats being to small when you set your chargers on top?  By the time you add the charger, silverware, and glasses you can not see your beautiful placemats.

When making your own placemats, you can determine the size needed for your place setting.  I was hoping to get a few more placemat samples made, but maybe after Thanksgiving.  There are no rules when it comes to placemats, so I placed a table setting with a charger on a piece of lining and made my own placemat pattern.  So easy everyone can do it!  Use news paper, graph paper or lining and create a pattern that works for you table.  The shape and size is up to you, the typical size is 16″x12″ or 18″x14″  which can be a little small.  Remember to take in consideration how many guest are sitting at your table.

Once I determined the size and shape I selected the fabric and theme for my placemats.  I have been working with the new Quick Pleater and love it!  So here is a placemat with pleats.  Not everyone would enjoy the pleats but for a girls night out or a special luncheon with the ladies pleated placemats would be a fun twist.
